Advantages:

1. You can contact with different people over the world.
2. Also can contact family that live overseas or on the other side of the world.
3. You can also talk to friends.
4. You can see the latest updates or tweets from the celebrities and what they're doing.
5. Also some people would meet there true love online.
6. People would also social networking sites to promote their blogs or a business they have set up to get more clients or customers, to get more informartion about the company/business.

Disadvantages:

1. You dont know whos viewing your profile.
2. Also you have all your personal information on the social networking site so anyone can see your information.
3. People would also make their profile or blog public so pedos can view your profile without you realising that they're on your profile.
4. Pedos would also pretend to be someone else so you need a lot of security on your profile so you know what they can see and what they cannot view.
5. Also your profile can be hacked, which means they know your username/email address, your password. So always have a security or your social networking site, that can prevent you to see what person has been on your profile and where there location is and what internet and software they're using.
